Drawing is largely an intuitive process. Artists tend to not think about the position, shape, and angle of every line—instead, they test what “feels” right or wrong. And while it is possible to learn a lot of things about drawing by reading articles and watching videos, some of them only start to make sense once they become a part of your intuition.
And how to put them there? Normally, you read the theory and try to put it into practice. But maybe there’s a different way? Let’s do an experiment together—here’s a set of exercises with no instructions. Follow the steps using your intuition only. If you don’t understand something, that’s fine—the point here is to train your intuition, not understanding!
