Recently I’ve been commissioned to create a sponsored tutorial for XP-PEN, which you can find here.

I’ve recorded the process of drawing the main illustration of that tutorial, and I’ve created a sped-up video out of it. I don’t usually draw in Photoshop, so this is a slightly different process than I’m used to, but I think you can learn a lot from it, especially if you’re a Photoshop user.

You can ask me any questions you have about this tablet, I’m free to give my honest opinion. To summarize it quickly, I love the clarity of the screen and the glossy feel, the size also feels quite optimal, although a stand would make it easier to use. I didn’t like the touch function (it kept registering my wrist, even in the glove, so I turned it off), and I also felt as if I needed to put more pressure to make the quick “clicks” registered by the tablet. But if you wonder if you need a Wacom table to create nice digital artworks, I think the video speaks for itself!
